BRIT NOVELISTS 'ENDURING LOVE' TO BE NOTTING DIRECTOR'S NEXT FLICK
|
Paramount Classics is in negotiations to acquire director Roger Michell's big-screen adaptation of the best selling novel 'Enduring Love'.
|
The project is based on the 1998 novel by Ian McEwan, and stars Daniel Craig ('Sylvia') and Rhys Ifans ('Notting Hill'). It's the story of two strangers whose lives become dangerously intertwined after they both witness a tragic accident.
The 'Love' pact includes North America, Latin America and Australia, sources said. The film would mark Michell's return to the Paramount fold following last year's thriller 'Changing Lanes', starring Ben Affleck and Samuel L. Jackson.
Brit director Michell's credits also include 'Notting Hill', 'Titanic Town' and 'The Mother', which also starred Craig.
